One of the largest events in the gastronomic industry, Prodexpo 2025, has been launched in Moscow, in which South Ossetia is also participating.
The 32nd international exhibition of food, beverages and raw materials for their production, Prodexpo, will be held in Moscow from February 3 to 7.
As reported to IA “Res” by Taimuraz Goginov, the trade representative of South Ossetia in Russia, the main exhibitors from the Republic are such brands as the High Mountain Kel Brewery, Ironsan winery and a cannery.
“In addition to this, South Ossetia brought a large amount of the Ossetian cheese and honey. We are confident that our participation in the exhibition will bring good results, and products from South Ossetia will again be recognized with high awards,” he said.
A lot of work was done not only to prepare the products for the exhibition, but also to decorate the stand. The national exposition of the Republic was decorated with works of the Ossetian artists and artisans, which, according to the trade representative, will allow the guests of the stand to get to know our culture and tourism better.
“This year we decided to present the works of the Ossetian artists, in particular Mikhail Kulumbegov - landscapes of South Ossetia, the views of Tskhinval. The stand will also feature the works of our artisans, for example - Bala Bestauty. We strive to take a comprehensive approach to presenting our culture, showing not only culinary traditions, but also art and tourism. Our exposition will become a real “piece of Ossetia”, where we will introduce the guests to our culture through creativity,” Goginov has shared.
During the exhibition, the South Ossetian delegation plans to actively participate in the business program, presenting the investment potential of the Republic. In addition, a large number of meetings with large federal networks and regional distributors are planned.
“Prodexpo” is the largest international exhibition of food and beverages in Russia and Eastern Europe. This year, it brought together over 1,800 participants from 36 countries on its vast platform.
