President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev met with the commander of the Sarmat battalion Vladimir Naniev, the press service of the head of state reports.
Having greeted the fighter, Gagloev noted that he was always glad to meet him.
“When I visited you in Moscow, I was pleasantly surprised by your fortitude and fighting spirit, despite the situation in which you found yourself then. It is always nice to see and realize how strong our guys are in spirit. You are all the example of courage and bravery. I am glad to meet you on my native land,” Alan Gagloev said.
Vladimir Naniev thanked the President for the support and attention that he is giving him personally and the fighters in the area of the special military operation.
He spoke about his immediate plans.
"I'll stay at home with my family for a while and then return to the battalion," Vladimir Naniev said.
The head of state asked whether there were any issues that needed to be addressed, and assured the fighter that he and all our compatriots on the fronts of the special military operation could always count on his support.
