A meeting was held in Beslan between the head of the Tskhinval Administration Alan Gabaraev and the mayor of Gradara (Italian Republic) Filippo Gasperi, who is on a visit to the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, the press service of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia reports.
The meeting took place with the support of the Beslan Administration and the Mothers of Beslan committee.
“During the conversation, the parties expressed their mutual intention to further developing cooperation within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between the Tskhinval Administration and the municipality of Gradara, signed in 2018,” the press service has noted.
The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Head of the Tskhinval City Administration Nikolay Gagloev, the Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Representative Office in Vladikavkaz Bagir Mamiev, the Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry Taimuraz Dzhidzhoev, the representative of the RSO Foreign Ministry in Italy, the honorary citizen of Beslan Mauro Murgia and others.
On the same day, a press conference "Beslan – Gradara. The Road of Peace. Cooperation and Interaction" was held, organized by the "Mothers of Beslan" committee.
