Employees of the Migration Department, together with representatives of the KGB, conducted a planned raid in Tskhinval.
The event was organized as part of monitoring compliance with migration legislation.
"During the raid, the law enforcement officers checked 17 households in which foreign citizens are temporarily residing.
Particular attention was paid to the presence of the necessary documents confirming the legality of their stay in the Republic," the press service has noted.
As a result of the raid, no violations of migration legislation were revealed.
