The Communist Party of South Ossetia is taking part in the Second International Anti-Fascist Forum, which is taking place in Moscow on the eve of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
This was announced by Vice-Speaker of Parliament of South Ossetia, the leader of the Communist Party of South Ossetia faction Taimuraz Tadtaev.
"A huge number of delegates from different parts of the world came to the second anti-fascist forum in the hero city of Moscow. This forum unites people of different nationalities," Tadtaev has noted.
According to him, the forum participants presented their parties and countries, and the delegation of South Ossetia also actively participated in the events.
"We laid flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden," he said. - This day symbolizes the unity of all the peoples of the world in the fight against the brown plague - the evil that has manifested itself again. We are all united in opposing nationalism and fascism."
The delegation from South Ossetia arrived in Moscow to express solidarity with the international anti-fascist movement.
"We are here to show that in South Ossetia there is and is actively operating a Communist Party that supports the ideas of equality, social justice and fights fascism," Taimuraz Tadtaev said.
The South Ossetian delegation has included members of Parliament from the Communist Party Taimuraz Tadtaev, Malkhaz Gagloev and Alan Bestaev.
The Second International Anti-Fascist Forum is being held in Moscow from April 22 to 24.
