A delegation of Parliament of South Ossetia headed by Speaker Alan Margiev, at the invitation of Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin, will take part in the work of the International Patriotic Forum "Great Heritage - Common Future", the press service of the legislative body reports.
The event will be held on the initiative of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia.
The Dorum will be held on April 28-30, 2025 in the hero city of Volgograd.
"The delegation of the South Ossetian Parliament has also included the First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Zita Besaeva, Deputy Speakers of the Parliament Taimuraz Tadtaev and Sergey Kharebaty, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-parliamentary relations Zaza Driaev and consultant of the Committee of the South Ossetian Parliament on Foreign Policy and Inter-parliamentary relations Zurab Kabisov," the press service has noted.
The International Forum is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, the preservation and protection of the historical truth about the heroic feat of the fighters against fascism, the importance of patriotic education of youth based on traditional spiritual and moral values.
