President Alan Gagloev met with deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Board of the Voin Center Viktor Vodolatsky and director of the All-Russian Children's Center Orlyonok Alexander Dzheus.
The delegation from the Russian Federation arrived in South Ossetia to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the condition of the children's camp in Dzau District, its compliance with the necessary requirements and to ensure its commissioning this summer.
The head of state warmly welcomed the guests. He has noted that Russia has always been close to South Ossetia in difficult times and noted the significance of the holiday, on the eve of which the meeting took place.
"It is very important for us that you have visited South Ossetia before such a significant holiday - Victory Day. You have come with a good and important mission. We are always glad to see you,” Alan Gagloev said.
Viktor Vodolatsky, in turn, thanked the President, having noted that active work will be carried out on the territory of the Republic of South Ossetia.
“21 regions of the Russian Federation have already opened our branches. Last year, 45 thousand children “we passed through ourselves”. There are results. President of Russia himself was convinced of this. We wanted the camp in the Republic to be international, so that people from different regions would come here: children from such camps as Artek, Orlyonok, from the Krasnodar Territory and the Rostov Region. This will be a very useful experience for the young state, when children will communicate with each other and exchange knowledge and small experience,” he has emphasized.
At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged memorable gifts.
