Representatives of the Embassy of South Ossetia in Russia, headed by Znaur Gassiev, took part in the mourning events dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Beslan tragedy.
At the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kulish (Alanskoye Podvorye), in front of the monument to the victims of the terrorist attack in Beslan, those present honored the memory of the victims with a minute of silence, after which wreaths were laid at the monument.
Representatives of the Moscow government, the Permanent Mission of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania to President of the Russian Federation, the Federation Council, the State Duma, as well as representatives of the Young Guard of United Russia and the Moscow Ossetian Community, the veterans of the Alpha and Vympel special forces, and representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations took part in the mourning ceremony.
The Beslan terrorist attack was the largest in Russian history in terms of the number of victims and remains so to this day.
