South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev has met with the delegation of the Chechen Republic, which arrived in Tskhinval to participate in the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Republic's founding and the opening ceremony of the first President of Chechnya, Hero of Russia Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov School of Arts, the presidential press service reports.
The delegation has included Minister of National Policy, External Relations, Press, and Information Akhmed Dudaev, Deputy Minister of Economic and Territorial Development Abdul-Rashid Zhamaldaev, and Director of the Ministry's Department of National Policy, External Relations, Press, and Information Surkho Munaev.
Alan Gagloev expressed his deep gratitude to the guests for their visit, noting that "friends are always there on such bright and festive days."
"It is highly symbolic that today, during these holidays, we are opening the School of Arts named after the first President of the Chechen Republic, Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov, which was built as a gift to the South Ossetian people from the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov. Now our children will have the opportunity to study art in appropriate conditions," the President said.
He conveyed his best wishes for health and well-being to the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov.
"Today, in these difficult times, our Ossetian fighters, together with their Chechen comrades and the multinational people of the Russian Federation, are participating in the special military operation. I am confident that together we will reach the end and return victorious," Alan Gagloev said.
In turn, Akhmed Dudaev thanked Alan Gagloev for the meeting and conveyed congratulations and best wishes to the President and people of South Ossetia on behalf of the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov.
"It's very gratifying to see positive changes in the Republic with each of our visits. And this is all thanks to you, Alan Eduardovich, and your team. We know that South Ossetia has come a long, difficult path, and we wish the people stability, prosperity, and peace," he said.
Akhmed Dudaev also noted the successful and vibrant hosting of the First International Economic Forum in Tskhinval, which opened on September 18, noting that this is another step toward the Republic's development.
"Today, we have witnessed how many guests want to come here, because we have excellent conditions and a well-developed infrastructure for hosting events of all formats," he said.
At the end of the meeting, the President presented the guests with commemorative medals "In Commemoration of the 35th Anniversary of the Republic of South Ossetia" for their contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the peoples of South Ossetia and the Chechen Republic.
The meeting was also attended by Nikolai Gagloev, First Deputy Head of the Tskhinval City Administration.
