Representatives of the Chelyabinsk region see significant potential for improving and developing road engineering in South Ossetia.

At the press conference in Tskhinval, Alexander Agafonov, CEO of Ecodor LLC, emphasized his company's readiness to consider options for supplying modern equipment to the Republic.

Agafonov has noted that the successful implementation of such projects requires government assistance and additional agreements.

"We manufacture asphalt concrete plants and see that your road engineering industry requires further improvement and refinement. We are ready to consider options for supplying equipment to your country, and, naturally, this requires the government assistance and additional agreements," he said.

Agafonov has emphasized that his company's assistance is not limited to road construction.

"Besides road engineering, we can help you in any other industry. But starting with road workers would be the best option, because it's a significant investment that pays for itself fairly quickly," the entrepreneur said.

He expressed hope for fruitful negotiations with the Republic's leadership, which could initiate budgetary allocations; find the ways to involve leasing companies, and other solutions.

He has also noted that the welcoming attitude of the host country and the positive atmosphere in the Republic inspire the further cooperation.

"The atmosphere you have here encourages us to say that we are ready to do something even more, even more useful, for you, to be needed and important in your life," the CEO has noted.

Agafonov has assured that all the entrepreneurs who arrived as part of the mission are committed to completing their projects and are prepared to make mutually beneficial concessions.

The second business mission from the Chelyabinsk Region arrived in the Republic yesterday. During the visit, the entrepreneurs from South Ossetia and the Chelyabinsk Region discussed prospects for deepening business cooperation, establishing foreign economic ties, and developing the Republic's tourism potential.
