Victoria Gazzaeva, a lecturer at the South Ossetian State University, was awarded an award for a series of works devoted to studying the factors of social development and identity of the Ossetian Diaspora in Turkey.
The lecturer in the Department of Political Science and Sociology at the South Ossetian State University received a third-class diploma, according to the University's press service.
"The diploma was presented to the young scholar as part of the 20th Zhdanov Readings, 'Yu.A. Zhdanov and the Don Culture. Zhdanov and Sholokhov,'" the press service has noted.
The event took place at the Institute of Sociology and Regional Studies of the Southern Federal University and was dedicated to the memory of the outstanding scientist, encyclopedist, scientific organizer, and public figure Yuri Zhdanov.
