Our soldiers, alongside their Russian brothers, are advancing in all directions, along the entire line of the special military operation, South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev said during the meeting with media representatives dedicated to the results of 2025.
"Whenever the opportunity arises, I always go to see our soldiers. And it's not just about the humanitarian aid we bring. For me, the most important thing is to see our soldiers in person, talk to them, hear what they need, how they are feeling. No phone can replace face-to-face communication, a human eye, and a sincere word," he has noted.
According to Gagloev, the raining, organization, and cooperation on the front lines allow the Russian army to move forward every day.
"We have a strategic advantage, and the Ossetians are fighting decisively, cohesively, and courageously." The courage, heroism, and dedication of our soldiers remain unwavering. From the very first days of the special military operation, they are fighting bravely, displaying true heroism. And you remember, as Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized, "The Ossetians are fighting brilliantly!"
The soldiers are confident. One thing I can say for sure: they have no doubt that the mission will be accomplished," the head of state said.
He has added that the Republic is truly proud of its sons.
"We support our boys as best we can. To ensure greater consistency in our work and the prompt resolution of any issues that arise, I have decided to appoint official presidential representatives in the special military operation zone by specific areas," the President has noted.
The head of the Presidential Control Directorate, Sarmat Chochiev, is in contact with the soldiers on the front lines, Gagloev continued.
"He receives a wide variety of requests, and we assist them in resolving them. It is important that this contact is maintained, even for a day," he emphasized. "Presidential Aide Alan Pliev is responsible for interaction with the families of service members, including those who have fallen. I meet regularly with these families; we strive to be there for them and assist with any issues that require state attention. Health Minister Soslan Naniev supports our soldiers who need treatment and rehabilitation, and constantly collaborates with the Russian medical institutions."
The Republic, based on its capabilities, has always helped and will continue to help our soldiers and their families, Gagloev has noted.
"Perhaps we cannot create large-scale programs today due to budget constraints, but we are doing everything in our power—in treatment, rehabilitation, and assistance at personal requests. And we will continue to do so," the President said.
"We are awaiting our soldiers' victory. Above all, their families, relatives, and friends are awaiting them. And the entire Republic of South Ossetia is awaiting them; for us, they are true Heroes," the leader of the Republic of South Ossetia has concluded.
"We are waiting for our soldiers to return victorious.
