South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev has arrived in Abkhazia, the presidential press service reportы.
At the border, the South Ossetian delegation, which arrived to participate in the international economic forum, was met by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to Abkhazia Astamur Katsia, Foreign Minister Oleg Bartsits, Speaker of the People's Assembly Lasha Ashuba, Minister of Justice Anri Bartsits, as well as MPs Badrik Pilia, Timur Beya, Timur Shergeliya, and Galust Trapizonyan.
Lasha Ashuba thanked Alan Gagloev for his support of the republic during these days,having noted that it is especially important for Abkhazia that the representative delegation of South Ossetia was one of the first to arrive.⠀
Alan Gagloev, in turn, expressed the words of gratitude for the warm and fraternal welcome, having emphasized that on such days South Ossetia will stand by its fraternal Republic.⠀
The head of state is accompanied on his trip by Prime Minister Dzambolat Tadtaev, Deputy Chairman of Parliament Sergei Kharebov, Chairman of the State Security Committee Yuri Kadiy, Minister of Economic Development Sarmat Koev, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sarmat Chochiev, Chairman of the Committee on Sports and Youth Policy Soslan Gassiev, Chairman of the Customs Committee Alexander Chochiev, as well as members of Parliament Alan Gagloev and Alexander Gassiev.⠀
