The official signing of a cooperation agreement between South Ossetia and the Festival Directorate will take place on the sidelines of the upcoming International Youth Festival in Yekaterinburg. This was announced by Alan Tibilov, Deputy Head of the Presidential Executive Office of the Republic, during a press conference in Tskhinval dedicated to the results of the visit of the Directorate representative Artem Fomin.
According to Tibilov, South Ossetian youth are showing tremendous interest in the World Youth Festival projects.
Seeing such engagement among the younger generation, the Republic's leadership is committed to taking cooperation with the organizers to a whole new level, he has noted.
"We have many joint plans. We have already agreed to sign a cooperation agreement, within which we will continue to work. This document will be signed on the sidelines of the International Youth Festival, but even without a formal agreement, we are already cooperating very productively," Tibilov said.
He has also emphasized that a deep mutual understanding has developed between the Republic and the directorate.
The organizers always accommodate South Ossetia, given the Republic's status as a friendly state to the Russian Federation, for which he expressed great gratitude.
Tibilov paid special attention to Fomin's meeting with the students.
"While interacting with active young people at the South Ossetian State University, we received a lively response. The students asked many questions during the meeting. Seeing such genuine interest in the festival's projects among our youth, we are simply obliged to develop our cooperation," he has emphasized.
At the end of the meeting, Alan Tibilov expressed hope for the successful implementation of many new joint projects in the future.
