The 21 round of the international discussions on security in Transcaucasia has been held in Geneva October10-11. About its results told the head of the South Ossetian delegation, the RSO Presidential Envoy Murat Dzhioev at a press briefing in Tskhinval.
The next meeting of the Mechanisms on Prevention and Reaction to Incidents (MPRI), which is operating within the framework of the Geneva discussions on security in the Caucasus, is being held on the border of South Ossetia and Georgia.
The meeting is attended by representatives of South Ossetia, Georgia, Russia, EU and OSCE. South Ossetian delegation is headed by Deputy Presidential Envoy to South Ossetia on post-conflict resolution Khokh Gagloyty.
July 18, the co-chairmen of the Geneva discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia are expected to arrive in South Ossetia. In Tskhinval the spokesmen of the European Union (Philippe Lefort), OSCE (Podrig Murphy) and the UN (Antti Turunen) will meet with members of the South Ossetian delegation at the Geneva discussions.

The twentieth round of the Geneva international discussions on security and stability in Transcaucasia ended June 8, 2012. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Republic of South Ossetia, Republic of Abkhazia, Georgia, the Russian Federation, the United States, as well as representatives of the EU, UN and OSCE. South Ossetian delegation was headed by Boris Chochiev.

Representatives of the Republic of Abkhazia and South Ossetia have stated at the 20th round of the Geneva discussions on security and stability in Transcaucasia the illegitimacy of using the terms "occupation" and "occupied territories" in relation to South Ossetia and Abkhazia in accordance with norms and principles of the international law.
The next round of the consultations on security in Transcaucasia with the participation of representatives of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, Georgia, Russia, USA, as well as UN, OSCE and EU will start today in Geneva; it will be held for two days – June7 - 8.
The South Ossetian delegation left for Geneva to attend the next round of discussions on security in Transcaucasia. As reported to IA "Res" by the head of the delegation Boris Chochiev, the delegation has included Foreign Minister David Sanakoev, presidential envoy to post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev and others.
