The branch of the International Scientific Society of the Caucasus researchers will be established in South Ossetia. It has been reported the news agency "Res" by the director of the South-Ossetian Scientific Research Institute named after Z.N.Vaneev, the Candidate of History, a senior lecturer Robert Gagloev. The decision on the branch establishment has been made following the results of this point discussion by the participants of the International conference «Problems of the Caucasus and modern Caucasus researching; the role of external and internal factors in the region development» which has passed in the cities Vladikavkaz (North Ossetia, Russia) and Tskhinval (Republic of South Ossetia). All necessary documentation has been already handed over to Robert Gagloev, and now the documents are on the stage of preparation for the branch registration in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of South Ossetia.

Today the United Nations General Assembly has put to the vote the resolution initiated three years ago by the Georgian party- «About the position of internally displaced persons and refugees from Abkhazia and South Ossetia». Last year the United Nations General Assembly with the 50 voices pro and 17 voices contra has adopted the resolution initiated by the Georgian party. In contains anxiety "by violent change of the demographic situation as a result of the conflicts in Georgia". In this connection, a South-Ossetian expert Inal Pliev has declared the news agency "Res" that «in 1991-1992, after a genocide and ethnic cleansings of the Ossetian population living in the former Georgia and temporarily occupied part of the territory of South Ossetia by the army of the State Council of Georgia, the United Nations did not express its concern in regard to the «violent change of the demographic situation in Borzhomi, Bakuriani, Tbilisi, Gori, Gudzhareti, Kakheti, Kareli (Georgia) and South Ossetia, but even as a sign of special encouragement of ethnic cleansings of the Ossetians has included Georgia in its ranks». We should note that last year the General Assembly recognized "the right for returning of the all internally displaced persons and refugees and their descendants, irrespective of ethnic belonging, to their houses all over the territory of Georgia, including Abkhazia and South Ossetia".

The Georgian violators have been expelled from South Ossetia by court judgment

10 citizens of Georgia detained for illegal crossing of the frontier of South Ossetia on June, 18-19, 2011 have been expelled from the Republic of South Ossetia. Their transference has taken place on the state border of the Republic of South Ossetia and Georgia between the town Tskhinval and the village Ergnet. The violators in the presence of press have informed the representatives of the Georgian force structures receiving them that while being under arrest the employees of the South-Ossetian frontier service and law enforcement bodies treated them exclusively politely, fed them well, supplied them with cigarettes, and during deportation have returned all their personal things withdrawn at detention in safe and sound.

In his interview to the Georgian magazine "Тbiliselebi" the ambassador of France Eric Furnje has declared: «In Georgia responsibility for the war is being searched not where it should be searched for. Who has launched the war? Who the first has started firing Tskhinval? You cannot rewrite the history and search for responsibility in other place, instead of its real location. Digging a bit more deeply one should demand explanations not in France or in any other country, but from the Menshevist republic which in 1921 exterminated the Ossetian population». This fair statement has caused a storm of indignation among the Georgian political ersatz-elite. A chairman of the interim parliamentary commission on rehabilitation of the territorial integrity of Georgia Shota Malashkhia declares that «the ambassador of France in Georgia Eric Furnje does not know the modern history of Georgia».
