The branch of the International Scientific Society of the Caucasus researchers will be established in South Ossetia. It has been reported the news agency "Res" by the director of the South-Ossetian Scientific Research Institute named after Z.N.Vaneev, the Candidate of History, a senior lecturer Robert Gagloev. The decision on the branch establishment has been made following the results of this point discussion by the participants of the International conference «Problems of the Caucasus and modern Caucasus researching; the role of external and internal factors in the region development» which has passed in the cities Vladikavkaz (North Ossetia, Russia) and Tskhinval (Republic of South Ossetia). All necessary documentation has been already handed over to Robert Gagloev, and now the documents are on the stage of preparation for the branch registration in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of South Ossetia.

The two-day conference «Problems of the Caucasus and the modern Caucasus researching, the role of internal and external factors in the region development», having started on Thursday in Vladikavkaz, has continued its work today in South Ossetia.

The head of the administration of Tskhinvalskiy region in South Ossetia Inal Pukhaev has declared the news agency "Res" that the resolution adopted by the United Nations General Assembly does not concern South Ossetia as it is not a part of Georgia. «We are the separate state, and what is adopted in Georgia, does not concern us», - Pukhaev has said. We should notice that the United Nations General assembly has adopted the resolution «Position of internally displaced persons and refugees from Abkhazia, Georgia, and Tskhinvalskiy region /South Ossetia, Georgia».The document has been considered during the session «Prolonged conflicts on the Guam space and their consequences for international peace, safety and development». Pukhaev has underlined: «If these "refugees "have been asked, whether they want to live in the independent Republic of South Ossetia?

Today the United Nations General Assembly has put to the vote the resolution initiated three years ago by the Georgian party- «About the position of internally displaced persons and refugees from Abkhazia and South Ossetia». Last year the United Nations General Assembly with the 50 voices pro and 17 voices contra has adopted the resolution initiated by the Georgian party. In contains anxiety "by violent change of the demographic situation as a result of the conflicts in Georgia". In this connection, a South-Ossetian expert Inal Pliev has declared the news agency "Res" that «in 1991-1992, after a genocide and ethnic cleansings of the Ossetian population living in the former Georgia and temporarily occupied part of the territory of South Ossetia by the army of the State Council of Georgia, the United Nations did not express its concern in regard to the «violent change of the demographic situation in Borzhomi, Bakuriani, Tbilisi, Gori, Gudzhareti, Kakheti, Kareli (Georgia) and South Ossetia, but even as a sign of special encouragement of ethnic cleansings of the Ossetians has included Georgia in its ranks». We should note that last year the General Assembly recognized "the right for returning of the all internally displaced persons and refugees and their descendants, irrespective of ethnic belonging, to their houses all over the territory of Georgia, including Abkhazia and South Ossetia".

The declaration of independence of the Republic of South Ossetia, all struggle of the Ossetian people for the state independence is based on strict observance of the international law standards. It has been declared by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the RSO Murat Dzhioev in his interview to the news agency "Res" «We did not make any decision which would contradict the applicable international legislation. 10 citizens of Georgia detained for illegal crossing of the frontier of South Ossetia on June, 18-19, 2011 have been expelled from the Republic of South Ossetia. Their transference has taken place on the state border of the Republic of South Ossetia and Georgia between the town Tskhinval and the village Ergnet. Digging a bit more deeply one should demand explanations not in France or in any other country, but from the Menshevist republic which in 1921 exterminated the Ossetian population». This fair statement has caused a storm of indignation among the Georgian political ersatz-elite. A chairman of the interim parliamentary commission on rehabilitation of the territorial integrity of Georgia Shota Malashkhia declares that «the ambassador of France in Georgia Eric Furnje does not know the modern history of Georgia».

The co-chairmen of the Geneva debates have recently met with the inhabitants of Leningorskiy region of the Republic of South Ossetia. The meeting has been arranged by the .South-Ossetian delegation at the Geneva consultations on request of the co-chairmen. As reported IA "Res" by the Deputy Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSO on the post conflict settlement Merab Chigoev, the "meeting turned out to be unexpectedly saturated and all the co-chairmen were highly interested in the discussion of all the issues. "The delegation has visited the house-museum of the ksani Eristavi, where the director of the museum has organized the excursion for us. The co-chairmen were interested in the exhibits, being demonstrated in the museum. We have explained that Eristavi were migrated many ages ago from the North Ossetia, their real surname was Bibilovy, and they converted the job title ' « Eristavi» into their surname", - has noted Chigoev.

Lately in secondary school in the Georgian village Ergneti, near the border adjusted to our country, it has been opened the so-called "cozy corner of the information centre of NATO in Georgia". In the opinion of experts, this fact witnesses only about the indefatigable desire of Georgia to enter the rows of this organization, rather then real steps in this direction.
