International festival of the world opera star, Honored Artist of South Ossetia and RSO- North Ossetia-Alania Veronica Dzhioeva will be held in South Ossetia, in August 18 – 22, said during a press conference at the State Committee of Information and Press of South Ossetia Minister of Culture of the Republic of South Ossetia Madina Ostaeva.
The festival will be attended by world stars from South Ossetia, Russia, the Czech Republic and Italy.
"This international festival will be held in South Ossetia for the first time", - she said.
As part of the festival, in Tskhinval will be two concerts. In addition, the opera singers will give master classes for young singers.
"One concert will take place in the hall of the Tskhinval school of music, and the second - a gala concert -will be held on August 22 in a cinema and concert hall "Chermen,"- said Ostaeva.
The initiator of the International Festival is the Ministry of Culture of the RSO.

Minister for Emergency Situations of South Ossetia Sergey Sanakoev has visited today the VIII Moscow International Salon of safety equipment "Integrated Safety - 2015".
According to the press service of the Emergency Ministry, Sanakoev has visited the International Salon of safety equipment on the invitation of the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation Vladimir Puchkov.

The Emergency Ministries of Russia and South Ossetia signed an agreement on cooperation; interaction between the two agencies is maintained at a high level.
It is also planned to hold a number of meetings between the Minister of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia and the Russian counterparts.

Salon participants will be able to see modern fire and rescue technologies, leading innovative developments in the field of integrated security.
As part of the Salon will also be held full-scale demonstration exercises using aircraft at the site of EMERCOM of Russia in Moscow.

More than 500 exhibitors from 20 countries will take part in the Salon; it will be attended by more than 20 thousand visitors.

"Integrated Safety - 2015" is a platform which demonstrates the achievements of science and high technologies in the field of integrated security.

April 23-24, in the capital of South Ossetia will be held theoretical and practical conference "Innovations in surgery, anesthesiology and resuscitation science.
As reported to IA "Res" by the Chairman of the parliamentary party "People's Party", the head of the department of anesthesiology and resuscitation science of the Republican Hospital of South Ossetia, Honored Doctor of the RSO Alexander Pliev, "the reports at the conference will be made by renowned experts from Moscow, Vladikavkaz, Beslan, Crimea, Simferopol, the North Caucasus republics: Chechnya, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Dagestan and Abkhazia, Finland."

Fighter from South Ossetia Ruslan Besaev (weight class up to 90 kg) has become a silver medalist of the third world hand-to-hand combat championship, completed yesterday in Moscow.
As reported by the Committee on Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism of South Ossetia, Besaev in the final match lost to the Russian athlete, world champion Roman Kopylov.
During the preliminary fights our athlete has shown good results, but, unfortunately, in the final match lost to his opponent.
In the championship have also participated other athletes from South Ossetia: Spartak Tskhovrebov (weight class up to 70 kg.), Shamil Jabiyev (weight class up to 75 kg.), Alan Pukhaev (weight class up to 80 kg.), George Pukhaev (weight class up to 85 kg.) and George Gabaraev (weight class over 95 kg.).
In the third world hand-to-hand combat championship participated athletes from 47 countries. More than 160 fighters were fighting for the title in nine men's and eight women's weight classes.
The fighters from South Ossetia were participating for the first time in the world hand-to-hand combat championship.

South Ossetian boxer Murat (Iron) Gassiev defeated the famous American boxer Felix Cora Jr, defending the IBF Intercontinental title of world champion.
The bout took place this morning in Connecticut, United States as part of the boxing show and became the main event of the evening.
According to the press service of the athlete, Gassiev knocked out his opponent during the 10 round, noting that it was a very heavy fight to Murat.

Since 2011, the "Days of Ossetian Culture in Europe" took place in such cities as Brussels (Belgium), Paris, Montmedi (France), Hulst (Holland), Budapest, Jaszbereny (Hungary), Istanbul (Turkey), Rome (Italy) and Luxembourg (Luxembourg).
