The State Committee for Information and Press of South Ossetia and the ITAR-TASS signed a Memorandum of Cooperation

In Tskhinval took place the solemn signing of the Memorandum of cooperation between the State Committee for Information and Press of South Ossetia and the federal unitary enterprise "Information Telegraph Agency of Russia (ITAR-TASS)."
The signing ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the State Committee for Information and Press of South Ossetia Vyacheslav Gobozov and First Deputy Director General of ITAR-TASS Mikhail Kalmykov.
According to the Memorandum, the parties agreed on information cooperation, the implementation and use of modern information technologies, working together to inform the Russian and world public about South Ossetia, strengthening strategic partnership and potential of the Republic.
In addition, for the fruitful and constructive collaboration with the ITAR-TASS the Chairman of the State Committee for Information and Press of South Ossetia Vyacheslav Gobozov and Presidential press Secretary Ghana Yanovskaya were presented letters of commendation.
It should be noted that the Memorandum was signed under the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance signed between Russia and South Ossetia in 2008.

An official delegation from South Ossetia took part in the celebrations dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, which took place on May 9 in Dagestan.

The delegation, headed by Minister of Justice of South Ossetia Alan Dzhioev has also included the State Adviser to the President of the RSO Rodion Siukaev and Deputy Chief of the Department of Internal Policy of the Presidential Executive Office of South Ossetia Alan Tibilov.

On behalf of the people and the leadership of South Ossetia Alan Dzhioev congratulated the people of Dagestan and wished them a peaceful sky.

"Victory Day is a holiday that fills our hearts with pride and gratitude; it is a celebration of courage, heroism of Russians, Ossetians, people of Dagestan and other peoples of the USSR.
It is a holiday that gave the future for us, our children and grandchildren! We wish the people of Dagestan health, happiness and peaceful sky, "- said at a gala ceremony Dzhioev.

In addition, the South Ossetian delegation met with a number of public and political figures of Dagestan, in particular, with the Minister of Culture of Dagestan Zarema Butaeva.

"In recent years, Western countries attempt to revise the results of the World War II. We appreciate the role of the allied forces in World War II, but at the same time, we will
make every effort to obstruct falsification and belittling the role of the Soviet troops in the Great Patriotic War. In turn, Rodion Siukaev added that "The Great Patriotic War was the most severe and bloody war in the world history, the period of mobilization of all resources of the Soviet people to achieve a victory over Nazi Germany."

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Ossetia to Russia Znaur Gassiev took part in the in Moscow IV International Parliamentary Forum.
The forum, the theme was which was "The role of parliaments in ensuring international security in modern conditions", was organized by the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Opening the forum, the Сhairman of the State Duma Sergei Naryshkin, said that "Russia was and will advocate for the concept of a Greater Europe, for partnership stretching from Lisbon to Vladivostok, noting that parliamentary diplomacy is also obliged to play its role in this.
During his speech, Sergei Naryshkin invited the meeting to consider the transformation of the forum in a new international organization. The MP has emphasized that the main objective of the project is a dialogue to strengthen international law and trust.

The forum was attended by more than 200 participants from 42 countries, including nine international organizations - executives and members of parliament, representatives of the expert community of the CIS countries, European countries, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

The forum was also attended by the Chairman of the Parliament of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov.

In the course of the forum was also discussed the situation in the modern world around the migration relations, the reasons for its growth as a result of armed conflicts, the challenges facing states, and cooperation of the parliaments in matters of migration policy. David Sanakoev: the border treaty should stop all the talks about annexation and occupation of South Ossetia

He told about the results of his visit to Moscow, where he had met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. In addition, during his visit to the Russian capital Sanakoev signed an agreement "On the state border between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation."
"There are friendly relations between Russia and South Ossetia; more than 80 agreements and other documents are signed since 2008. The current treaty legally confirms the status of the state border between Russia and South Ossetia. According to the document, the state border between the two countries passes through the delimitation and demarcation points outlined in the result of a joint South Ossetian-Russian commission,"- he said.
According to Sanakoev, the treaty should stop all the talks about annexation, occupation, accession of South Ossetia to Russia.
The Minister has added that during the meeting with his Russian counterpart were discussed a wide range of bilateral issues, including the Geneva discussions on security in Transcaucasia, where are considered two issues - security, in particular, preparation of a document on the non-use of force by Georgia, and the humanitarian part of the agenda. People of South Ossetia clearly defined the status of the state; it is recognized by Russia, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Nauru and Tuvalu. It is important to discuss at the Geneva talks those pressing issue identified by the Medvedev-Sarkozy agreement. Georgia often shows itself as incapable of reaching agreement; this fact is also witnessed by international experts.
South Ossetia will continue to insist on signing a document on the non-use of force.
During the press conference Sanakoev has also expressed concern about the intention of creating the NATO training centers in Georgia. Commenting on the statements of Georgian politicians on "new forms and possibilities of dialogue with South Ossetia and Abkhazia", the Minister has noted that Georgia, first of all, must give a political assessment of the armed aggression against South Ossetia in 1989-2008.
"Today, as you can see, the US and NATO provide military support to Georgia, along with other countries. We would not want this military force to be applied against us again, "- said Sanakoev.
The Minister has also said that the Treaty of alliance and integration between South Ossetia and the Russian Federation has already been considered and adopted by the Government of the Russian Federation.
The Foreign Minister has announced his intention to begin the process of unification of legislation of South Ossetia in the field of customs legislation of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Russian Federation.

In two days it will be issued the draft agreement in order to conduct appropriate consultations with the colleagues. There is hope and confidence that the agreement with Russia will be signed in early February, "- said the president.

The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Madina Valieva took part in the scientific-educational program "Dialogue in the name of the future -2014", held in Moscow. "For South Ossetia in the current situation, it is important an international platform, where in direct contact with representatives of different countries there is an opportunity to declare openly about the country, its interests and real situation," said Valieva.
According to her, the participants of the Dialogue with interest perceived the information about South Ossetia. She has expressed the hope that the young professionals of the Republic will take a more active part in international forums. Valieva has noted that in the framework of the scientific-educational programs the participants were provided with a rich program.
" We had a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov. I asked him about the Treaty to be signed between Russia and South Ossetia; in particular, whether the upcoming agreement will be integrative to South Ossetia or there will remain a possibility for integration in the Eurasian space, as an observer, and, perhaps, even a full member. The Minister has answered that the Treaty will not bring any qualitative changes in the relationships, as well as in the treaties signed between our countries," she said.
The project is organized by the Gorchakov Fund. "Dialogue in the name of the future" is a key project of the Gorchakov Fund, held annually since 2011, dedicated to the foreign policy activities of Russia, its priorities and trends. The aim of the project is the formation of a platform for exchange of views with representatives of the CIS and Baltic countries, to discuss topical international problems through public diplomacy, information about the Russian position on topical issues of the global agenda, as well as the formation of an objective image of Russia in these states. The project is aimed at young scientists, specialists in the field of international relations, employees of research institutes, representatives of state structures and civil society.
