The cases of violation of the state border of South Ossetia with Georgia related to smuggling have become more frequent since the previous meeting within the framework of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanisms. A delegation of the South Ossetian Parliament headed by Speaker Alan Margiev will take part in the XI conference of the North Caucasian Parliamentary Association.

In October, 23 violators of the established legal regimes were detained at various sections of the state border of South Ossetia.
