The international exhibition of food, beverages and raw materials for their production Prodexpo 2025 showed great interest in the exposition of South Ossetia, Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of South Ossetia noted, commenting on the results of the large-scale event held at the Moscow Expocentre.
“This exhibition is distinguished by its grand scale, variety of products and abundance of trendy new products.
The South Ossetian delegation was headed by trade representative of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation, Taimuraz Zurabovich Goginov.
The delegation presented not only traditional products of the Republic, but also modern developments that satisfy even the most demanding consumers,” the message published on the official website of the Ministry of Economic Development says.
Visitors were introduced to the brand "South Ossetia", identifying the unique natural conditions that allow the creation of environmentally friendly products of the highest level.
"Having tasted the exhibition products, the guests of the national exposition confirmed the excellent taste and quality of the products produced in South Ossetia," the Ministry has noted.
Taimuraz Goginov noted the high interest in the national exposition, including large investors, such as the VTB Bank (PJSC) headed by Senior Vice President Alexander Gogolev and General Director of Invest capital LLC Maxim Melikhov.
The South Ossetian delegation also met with diplomatic representatives of the countries that had recognized the independence of the Republic.
The exposition was visited by Ambassador of South Ossetia to the Russian Federation Znaur Gassiev, as well as by ambassadors of Venezuela and Nicaragua.
During the exhibition, South Ossetian products received high awards.
The products of the LLC Subira AV canning plant won three medals at once in the competition.
The apple-pumpkin pastila and Tkemali sauce received "gold", and the apple pastila of the enterprise received "silver". A great achievement was the awarding of the "Prodexpo Star" to the white cherry jam with walnuts.
The products of LLC Hgh-Mountain Kel Brewery "ALPINE BREWERY GROUP" also received gold and silver medals.
The "gold" was received by the light beer "Iryston Lager Light" and dark beer "Border Star Dark", and the "silver" was taken by the light beer "Alanova Lager Classic".
In turn, Ironsan Winery LLC brilliantly presented its products and won gold medals for chacha and TsARD cognac, and the dry white wine TsARD Pinot Grigio was awarded a diploma of the competition.
Prodexpo is not only an exhibition venue, but also promotes to establish effective ties between suppliers and buyers. The event brings together a large number of participants and suppliers from different regions, representatives of Russian and foreign companies.
Taimuraz Goginov has expressed confidence that the success at the Prodexpo-2025 will become a powerful impetus for further development of the food industry in South Ossetia.
He has noted that the expectations from the participation in the exhibition are an increase in exports and an increase in export positions through new exporters.
