The delegation of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of South Ossetia, headed by acting Defense Minister Lieutenant-General Ibrahim Gasseev, is taking part in solemn events timed to the 25th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Abkhazia.
The Minister of Defense of Abkhazia, Army General Mirab Kishmaria and Lieutenant-General Ibrahim Gasseev held a meeting, during which they discussed issues of bilateral cooperation.

Well-known Ossetian artists will present their paintings 14 October in the Italian city of Pesaro. As reported to IA "RES" by the organizer of the exhibition, head of the Association "Renaissance-Sandidzan" Radion Pukhaev, the event will be held at La Galleria di Arte Contemporanea Dell di Pesaro Alexander Museum.
"The exhibition is held in order to strengthen cultural ties with European regions," Pukhaev said.

South Ossetia will be represented by 60 participants at the World Festival of Youth and Students
Representatives of South Ossetia will take part in the XIX World Festival of Youth and Students, which will be held from October 14 to 22 in Sochi.
