The media assistant of the JPKF Commander Senior Lieutenant Vladimir Ivanov informed the correspondent of “Res” that the personnel of the Russian JPKF battalion, which arrived for replacement today, started hand-over of service places, equipment and armament as well as places of housing and life sustenance.
According to him, “the personnel replacement will stat today at 9 Russian observation posts and check-points in the conflict zone. By 3 June the newly arrived Russian peacekeeping battalion will start execution of duties in the JPKF area of responsibility. Currently the peacekeeping rotation is going on without disruption”.
