Tonight near the Russian peacekeeping check point “Spider” on a mine fixed from the Georgian village Achabeti exploded a soldier from the Russian peacekeeping battalion. As was informed the correspondent of “Res” agency t Tskhinval hospital, the soldier’s condition is bad and an operation is going on. In general the situation in the Republic is disturbing but calm. Information about the forthcoming provocations from the Georgian side is being confirmed. According to the security services of South Ossetia, it is currently known that 40 tanks and 4 artillery mounts “Grad” were moved last night.
