The USA are neither the party, nor the intermediary in the negotiating process and statements without corresponding argumentation and logic only confirm the unilateral approach to the situation, so the President of RSO Eduard Kokojty has commented on the statement of the embassy of the USA in Georgia about the joint monitoring of the Rokskij tunnel.
«Such sort of tendentious statements do not promote peace and quietness, but only feed aggression and hostility of the georgian side. While demanding the monitoring of the Rokskij tunnel, probably it is necessary to hold a monitoring of the georgian ports, where the weapon is delivered, including from the USA, or the radar system on the border with South Ossetia and many other things in Georgia.
The USA is a strong, influential country. It would be very much desirable to see it on the Caucasus as the force that promotes to peace and justice, instead of the ideologist, inciting to an aggressive policy.
The today"s policy of the USA on the Caucasus, unfortunately, only promotes to growth of anti-American moods», Eduard Kokojty has noted.
