An opera singer Dolores Bilaonova was honored with the title of RSO people’s artist by decree of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity. RSO Minister of Culture Tamerlan Dzutsev informed IA «Res» correspondent that the appropriate diploma was handed at the evening party devoted to the seventieth birthday 45 years of creative activity of the opera singer Dolores Bilaonova.
The evening party eventuated on 19 June in Vladikavkaz opera and ballet theatre.
«To congratulate the opera singer at the concert given in her honour came Iosif Kobzon, Felix Tsaricati, Akim Salbiev and brother of Dolores Chaturanga Bilaonov who is also an opera singer living in Kharkov»-said Dzutsev.
The people’s artist of Russia, people’s artist of RNO-A, and now the people’s artist of the Republic of South Ossetia Dolores Bilaonova – is a performer of the main parts of first Ossetian operas: Azau in «Azau», Ollana in «Ollana», Kiaba in «The kermenists» of Ilia Gabaraev, orphans mother in «Kosta» of Khristophor Pliev, Fatima in «Fatima», Kosherkhan in «Khanty cahd» of Dudar Khakhanov.
