"The Georgian side continues to periodically fire at villages of South Ossetia. Today"s incident was certainly another provocation against the RSO. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported", said the MoD press-service adding that the South Ossetian side did not open fire in return."
The MoD noted that "the Georgian side should bear in mind that the armed forces of the RSO might respond adequately".
