Istanbul to Host a Meeting of NGOs on the Development of Civil Dialogue

Representatives of public organizations and NGOs of South Ossetia will take part in the dialogue between civil society representatives of Georgia and South Ossetia to be held in Istanbul from September 30 to October 4, said the Chairman of the Center for Information Technologies "Intellectual Resources" Kosta Dzugaev.
"During the meeting, the South Ossetian side intends to raise the issue of illegally detained citizens on Georgian territory, the issues of cross-border cooperation, humanitarian issues, suspension of gas supply in Leningor district of South Ossetia since 2008, and so on", said Dzugaev.

According to him, "together with South Ossetian representatives, the meeting will be attended by invited representatives of European and international organizations, as well as the Georgian side."
Dzugaev said that the South Ossetian side would participate upon the invitation of the American Institute of George Mason on behalf of Professor Susan Allen Nan, the organizer of the dialogue.
