The Head of Administration of Dzau district of South Ossetia Pavel Kumaritov visited Kvaisa and Sinagur. It was his first working visit as the head of the administration. On the spot, he met with representatives of local administrations as well as communicated with the public.
The main problem raised by residents of Kvaisa was the construction of wooden houses at the Dzhodzhora river bank. Future owners of these houses are afraid that the river may spill over the banks and to demolish the houses. It should be noted that this issue was raised by the residents as soon as the construction of houses began. However, the construction of the houses continued.

According to Pavel Kumaritov, the following solution to the problem was found: bank protection works will be held and dams built so that the residents are able to move into new homes. The Head of Administration noted that the settlement of the issue requires the government’s decision. "If they understand that the question has both economic and political aspects, they will finance the work. Otherwise, the question remains open, " said Kumaritov.
The visit continued with a trip to the village of Sinagur. As Kumaritov noted, this part of the area was rarely visited.
People feel detached from the rest of the Republic. Most of the questions raised by residents emerged few years ago, and they should have been gradually settled. Nonetheless, for some reasons, the problems have not resolved. Sinagur faces an acute shortage of medicines at the local hospital where there are no doctors. Another problem is the remoteness of the school from to be attended by local pupils.
The trip resulted in solutions found for the above problems: medicines were sent to the village, transportation will be organized for the children to take to the school and bring them back. In addition, humanitarian aid consisting of wheat flour (one sack per household) was sent to Sinagur. Head of the district had promised to continue to provide these villages with possible help.
