Fotoexhibition "Kosovo - South Osetiya: the glance inside out" will be opened tomorrow, February 17, in Russian museum in Nizhny Novgorod. The author Nataliya Batraeva reported IA "RES", that 100 photographies in genre of reporting will be exposed at the exhibition.As she says, the georgian-ossetian war in August 2008 had very oppressive impression on her. "The whole meaning of the five-day war we are not able to understand, it is enough to say that the operation on abolishion was identified on-georgian "Tsminda veli" that is translated, as "Clean field".
The Word "Tsminda" has two meanings: "saint" and "clean" and is used exactly in the meanung of "saint". We must now realize what has happened and make right conclusions", - notes the photographer. Also Batraeva has reported that the book "South Ossetia: the glance inside out" has been ready for publishing. "The work on the book at this moment has been completed, and its publishing depends on , if one will manage to find the means for payment the typographical expenses for printing the circulation ", - has noted Batraeva. Collection of the material for the book had been lasting about two years. The Author has collected the unique material about the august events and life in South Ossetia on example of lives of some people: retired colonel in Khetagurovo , hiding the volunteers in his cellar; russian woman who has lain nine hours on Zarskaya road; the priest, accompanying his son to the battle positions; the georgian Domenty 30 years protecting the ancient temple in the ossetian village Tigva; the american Joe Mestas, whose family turned out to find themselves under the bombs in Java and etc. "On the grounds of these material and photographies I made the book-album: "South Ossetia: the glance inside out" and photoexhibition. The work is the result of the book "Kosovo: the glance inside out", which has been preparing to be published soon and photoexhibiton with similar name", - has told Batraeva. We must note that the exhibition will be opened on February 17 till the 1 of March 2011. The Exhibition is organized due to support of the Ministry of Culture in Nizhegorodsky area, due to the Department of foreign economic and interregional relationships of the administration of Nizhny Novgorod, City administrations of the blood-brother city Novy Sad and the Embassy of the Republic of South Ossetia in RF.
