The Number 36 of the republican socio-political newspaper in ossetian language "Hurzarin" for April 5 2011 begins with the information of the meeting of the president of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity with the representatives of youth and the students of Moscow at the Russian state social university. "The Rector of the university Vasiliy Bug - one of the noble men, who don`t spare themselves in rising the qualification of the south-ossetian professional personnel", - is written in the publication. It is noted in the article that "the leader of our republic has in detail told about the present position of the republic, about relations with Russian Federation and international community and, certainly, about questions, related to the military conflict with Georgia".

After his speech the head of the state has answered the numerous questions of the students. The theme of the studying youth continues the article of Nikolay Khubaev "Are bringing up comprehensively" about the hard pedagogical work of the secondary school teachers in Sinagur of Dzauskiy region in the Republic of South Ossetia. "The teachers generously arm the pupils with knowledge, arouse and strengthen in them love to their Native land, to nature. One can see it from careful attitude of children to the environment, to traditions and customs of our people and so on", - speaks the author. With special warmth Nikolay Khubaev is writing that to each significant date pupils with their teachers conduct the festive actions, where they sing, dance, and make scenes. Teaches in school also study riding. It has been done on the initiative of the teachers, and has been supported by the pupils. "I can say firmly: the teachers of Sinagur schools are preparing the worthy and loyal people for their Native land ", - sums up the author of the article. As if it has been specially done, for comparison with the children of Sinagur, there is an article "Naughty Saakashvili has disappointed his teacher" on the same U-turn of the newspaper. "Mikhail Saakashvili is a very ill-mannered", - are quoted the words of Eduard Shevardnadze. Of course, after all he has been grown up by Eduard Ambrosievich himself! But if the teachers of Sinagur took part in the process, it would be possible another result. The theme of politics is also enlightened on the pages of the following 37- number of the newspaper for April 7 2011. About the round table of the south-ossetian journalists headed by the Chairman of the State committee for information, connection and mass communication Georgiy Kabisov, which took place at the media-centre "Ir" with participation of the vice-chairman of the parliament of the RSO Mira Tskhovrebova, the representative of the «RIA-News" Alan Kasaev and other official persons, is narrated in the article "Our fate –is a united informational space". The newspaper traditionally enlightens the issues on rehabilitation of South Ossetia, which cause great interest in the public. The note "The galleries have been reconstructed» tells about the repair of anti-snow-slip galleries on TRANSKAM. «We have done great and important work. We have done the heavy repair of the first and the third galleries. We’ve done water-isolation, have made the aqueducts, paved with asphalt", -the words of the vice-chairman of the Committee for rehabilitation of the RSO Sarmat Kotaev are quoted in the newspaper. "Concerning the second gallery it has been made a decision to build its external wall. This has cost 80 million roubles", is reported further on. The series of the portrait articles traditional for ossetian socio-political journalism in whole, continues the article of Nicolay Khubaev "Care about the sick ones – is his main task" about the former head of surgical department of the regional hospital in Murmansk Mairbeg Kokoev, who at present is the main physician of the South-Ossetian republican somatic hospital. The hero of the publication tells his own reflections about medicine in whole and about the plans on improvement of public health in South Ossetia. The theme of public health continues in № 38 of the newspaper for April 9 2011 in the interview of the chairman of the Committee on control in sphere of protection of the rights of consumers and welfare of men in the RSO Marina Kochieva to the journalist of the newspaper Marfa Vazagova. In this interview she tells in detail about the drinking water in Tskhinval water supply system, the quality of which, for the reason of conducted reconstruction of the underground communications, does not correspond to the standards, and it needs to be boiled. Marina Kochieva also advises the municipal services to water the streets of the capital several times a day to reduce the amount of dust, which has been let out because of opening the asphalt covering in connection with the conducted works. The theme of rehabilitation is also risen in the article "The building of the Parliament is being repaired", where is said that the reconstruction of the building of the Parliament in the RSO started. The сcontractor is a Russian constructional company "Leya" from Vladikavkaz. "The reconstruction works will last till the end of 2011", - the newspaper quotes the words of the Minister of capital, road construction and architecture of the RSO Chermen Khugaev. The temporary difficulties which the dwellers of Tskhinval are being undergone are described in the article of Sarmat Kozaev "When the soil is settled, the health will sit "- in № 37 of the socio-political newspaper "South Ossetia" from April 5 2011. "The full-scale works on changing the communications on the streets of the city have brought about unprecedented for the whole centuries-old history of Tskhinval contamination and dust on the streets. The fact of changing the communications the dwellers of Tskhinval accept intelligently. After all actually for 50 years onward the issue of the worn out communications will be off the agenda. The town-dwellers are worried about the only thing – how long they are going to breathe in dust and tolerate impassable dirt?" - writes the author. Having told in detail about the technological side of ramming the soil while conducting such kind of work, the author sums up: "changing the communications must be not carried out at the cost of serious deterioration of health of the people. And who in this case is in charge of health of the town-dwellers? «The author of the same name article Viktor Dudaev appeals to raise the attractiveness of the republic for investor. He is telling his own thoughts about the rational using of natural wealth and climatic conditions of South Ossetia, bringing the concrete facts. "Above the village Ivret, which is located near the village Grom, in 1960 the georgian geologists were conducting the exploration works. Some village dwellers took part in these works. They dug through two horizontal mines and one vertical chink. In several years, when were found non-ferrous metals, the mine was detonated", - recollect the author. Why after finding out the non-ferrous metals the mine was detonated? Moreover, not only this mine? For a long time ones had been beating their brains out, trying to solve this paradox as it seemed then. But already after the «perestroika» and the collapse of the USSR it was found out from the georgian press that Georgia had been dreaming to be separated from the USSR for a long time, and during the 70 soviet years secretly had been preparing itself in different directions. For this purpose, the information about the minerals in South Ossetia was hidden from the Union centre, and even that time some forces in Tbilisi intended to use it themselves, after getting the "independence" of Georgia. "All the foregoing information will be confirmed, when the geological exploration works start on the whole territory of our republic. Moreover, one may use the reserves of our mineral springs, build the balneological clinics. We have good climate, which does not have the analogue in the world. So we have to build sanatoriums and rest homes. For realization of all these actions it`s necessary to attract both local and foreign investors", - sums up Viktor Dudaev. The questions of the national cultural heritage are raised in the article of M. Gubety "The Singers-narrators carried the legends of the narts through the ages ".» Though the folk narrators devoted many years of their life, narrating of the epic works was not professional occupation for them, connected with gaining the means for existence, - writes the author. - In the artistic life of the ossetians the folk singers occupied a special place. They have played a great role in creation of many masterpieces of the ossetian folklore, in preservation and in bringing down the other generations of the best works of oral, poetic and music creation of the ossetians. They carried the legends of the narts and other kind of the ossetian folklore through the ages. Having mastered the wealth of spiritual culture of people, the ossetian singers-narrators created the new songs, kadags, legends and other works, connected closely with the history and life of the native people". The critical article of Aylar Tigiev is devoted to the issues of agriculture. Here is the problem that the manufacturers of the agricultural products of our republic have not the direct access to the final customer. "Each region must have its own quarter in Tskhinval and the place in the market, this is also indicated in business plan", - writes the author. However this does not take place. A large article of Alena Dzhioty "The main thing for spaceman – is a patience" in number 39 of the newspaper "South Ossetia" for April 9 2011 is dedicated to the Day of Cosmonautics and also to the visit of the russian delegation headed by the pilot-spaceman Mikhail Kornienko in our country. The Delegation has visited many institutions of South Ossetia, and had a lot of interesting meetings with the population. "Children have literally filled up the pilot-spaceman Mikhail Kornienko with questions. They were interested in everything: if it is easy to become a spaceman, what are the skills one must have to become a spaceman, how his family reacted on his choice and etc. Kornienko in detail answered all the questions. The meeting was being conducted in natural atmosphere, the children did not want to release the guests for a long time", - writes the author. We could not say seriously of any gallop in the economic development of South Ossetia unless the railway, linking our country with Russia is built. Such thought appears while reading the article of the expert of the Local Lore about the history of the railway transport in South Ossetia, the well-known ossetian journalist, the junior research assistant of the department of ethnography of the South-Ossetian Research Institute Robert Kulumbegov "Our locomotive flies onward, the stop is in Tskhinval" in April, №19 of the newspaper "The Republic". "The main Caucasian spine, stretched from the Black sea to the Caspian seaside, is a natural barrier for connection between the North Caucasus and Transcaucasia. Great variety of its relief, broad extent of the slopes and twisty gorges has made it difficult for access of people, but not insuperable", - writes the author. It`s notable that the idea of construction the direct railway between the South Ossetia and Russia arose not today and even not in the soviet union, but in the tsarist period. Kulumbegov affirms: "We have all technological abilities for laying the railway to the South Ossetia. There are no unfeasible technical issues today. The gas pipe-line "Dzuarikau - Tskhinval" confirms this fact. Modern level of road construction roads makes it possible to build roads anywhere". He came to the conclusion that "train service between Russia and Transcaucasia through the territory of Ossetia would have played an important role in the development of economy both of South and North Ossetia. Any railway – is a way to the development. In Alagirskiy region is being built the mountain-recreational complex "Mamison", are functioning Zaramag hydro-electric power station and Sadonskiy mines. The economic advantages are obvious also for South Ossetia. Any transit connection – are customs duties, persistently flowing into the state treasury. Moreover, the service of the railway track – are hundreds of vacancies, social infrastructure, attendants of the production". Such kind of articles allow to say of realization in South Ossetia one of the main functions of the mass media, setting socio -economic significant targets and tasks, their role and contribution to public progress, in propaganda and spreading of the leading ideas, promoting the improvement of the level of life standards of people. At the same time, the newspaper enlightens the present-day problems. The article of L. Dzhioev "The warm summer will bring the new problems with itself " is dedicated to unattractive external look of our capital, which has suffered the brunt of the racket-artillery fire, the firing from "Hail" and bombing of the georgian military aviation was seriously damaged in the result of the armed aggression of Georgia in 1991-1992, 2004 and 2008, as well as the economic devastation, when people driven to despair at nights were cutting down the trees on the streets and heated their apartments with them. The author is recollecting with nostalgia: "In the middle of the eightieth years of the past age, the legendary sport commentator, the well- known tennis player Nicolay Ozerov paid a creative visit to our town. The essence of his small monologue was that he would be happy to live in such "calm, clean and green town" as Tskhinval. And after all Nicolay Ozerov did not lie, and even did not try to please the patriotic southerners in such manner. The majority of the inhabitants of the capital and readers of our newspaper remember well that time, when Tskhinval in the eightieth of the twentieth century really wallowed in verdure, and was a quiet, cozy small town, with clean streets and courtyards. And what a sharp contrast to that almost idyllic picture presents the modern city. The majority of the blocks of the capital occasionally remind the medieval passing track in the middle of desert (something like it we often see on screen in historical films), with dust, dirt and disorderly actions of people". Not always, softly saying, qualitative works on reconstruction of the underground communications added the extra difficulties in the present ones. "The dug trenches are filled up harum-scarum, why they in short time sink and become either pits, or hillocks, and are far from the flat road covering. In contrast to the town roads one can consider the rural roads the routes. And how many cases we have, when a car of some poor man fell into the pit, excavated under the laying of communications, occasionally so deep that sometimes the auto is not seen. The broken auto, stress of the driver, idle attempts to pull the car out of the pit,-these are only the small parts of the following "good mood". There was not any trench there in the afternoon ", - writes Dzhioev. He appeals to the "specialist to pay attention to this problem. And the rest of our fellow citizens have to fulfill their functional duties, and think more about future of their country and its inhabitants- the citizens of the Republic of South Ossetia, who have suffered a great deal of difficulties and ordeals". The series of portrait interviews with the figures of culture and art continues the conversation of the journalist Inal Tibilov with, what the author indicates, one of the most talented artist, original, in good sense, and modest person and simply a very interesting collocutor Anzhela Stambulyan. "In senior class I got acquainted with the creative work of Salvador Dali. When I saw his pictures and understood what I needed in my creative activity. I understood it at once and clearly. It was a reminiscence of «Anzhelyus" by Mille, here was a Liberty, I was lack of. I didn’t see the whole Mille then, but what I managed to see - was a great discovery for me though even for my age I was familiar with the classics of the world painting rather well. I was familiar with the Russian schools, had rather good imagination of the western artists, but all this had an access to the soviet spectator, soviet judge within the limited framework, and was usual that time", - says the respondent. She emphasizes the role of the surroundings for shaping the harmonious personality, the necessity of careful attitude to the talented people: "I am very grateful to people, created all these things. In particular, to Tamara Nikolaevna Shavlokhova and all those, surrounding her. I got acquainted with these people, and now it is a major part of my life, much saturated and bright. We, the members of the club «Apollo», people with the enough powerful potential, - could not manage to make the majority of things, but all what was done-was done sincerely and honestly " The theme of art and culture continues in the article of Batradz Kharebov "About the ossetian choreography". It is dedicated to the prominent ossetian choreographer Mels Shavlokhov. "Mels Mukhtarovich, - writes the author, - is not only a theorist of dance, but he also carries out his knowledge into practice – he headed the choreographic school, which he had founded at the Ministry of culture of the RSO, which had already realized several graduates. A lot of his alumni are successfully dancing in the groups of the South and North Ossetia, in the other republics". Further on the author of the article is telling about the structure of the book and about the significant contribution of Shavlokhov in development of the national choreographic art. Kharebov comes to conclusion that the "book by Mels Shavlokhov, beyond all doubt, is worthy of renewing his home library. Fortunately, its number was not limited by sayings that it is a special literature. It is addressed not only to choreographers, dance masters and the dance itself, but to all ones, who love the ossetian dance, who is interested in history, ethnography, culture and art of Ossetia, but it means – to all of us". To the fiftieth anniversary of the first flight of a man to Space is dedicated the article of Robert Kulumbegov "After the return of Gagarin, the first spaceman was met by Akhmat Gassiev". Неre is told about our countryman Akhmat Gassiev, who headed one of the military groups, sent to quest Y. Gagarin landed on parachute. "And exactly to him the Spaceman №1 first reported about the successfully completed flight. In turn, Akhmat himself has reported the pleasing news on awarding the lieutenant Gagarin the rank of major", - writes the author. The memoirs of Gassiev are also written in the article: "having run up to Gagarin, we began embracing and kissing, so great was the joy from the meeting. There were also the soldiers from my group and the local inhabitants there. At last, I handed him my party ticket and asked him to sign his name". There are Uriy Gagarin, Akhmat Gassiev on the photography of the article, made soon after the landing, but between them in the centre of the background – is an unknown young man. As it was found out, this young person -is V. V. Konakov, he is now a Chairman of the State Assembly of the Republic of Mordoviya. Kulumbegov also writes about our, unfortunately, little-known, fellow countryman, the military pilot Lev Khasiev. "He was among the little ones enrolled in starry troop. After many months training Lev Khasiev got a short-term furlough and arrived in his home town Tskhinval. But here, on January 1965, the tragic incident took place on the day of his return in the detachment, in the result of which he perished. Only in the course of his funerals it was found out that the young pilot Lev Khasiev was in the detachment of spacemen. Secrecy that time was so hard it would be impossible to inform his natives". The author is also telling about the other ossetian who made contribution to the development of astronautics. There are the other interesting themes in the highlight of the south-ossetian MM for the past week.
