Eduard Kokoity: People of South Ossetia are mourning with the people of Abkhazia

The death of the President of Abkhazia Sergey Bagapsh – is bereavement, both for Abkhazia, and for South Ossetia. It has been declared by the President of the RSO Eduard Kokoity. "People of South Ossetia are mourning with the people of Abkhazia. The death of Sergey Vasilievich Bagapsh - is bereavement both for people of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. The President of Abkhazia was a great friend of the Republic of South Ossetia. In his person we have lost not simply the ally - for me Sergey Vasilievich Bagapsh was more than a friend", - has said the head of the state.

The President has expressed the hope that the fraternal Abkhazian people will find strength to overcome this bereavement and will continue the course Bagapsh has devoted himself.
Earlier it has been announced that in connection with the death of the President of Abkhazia Sergey Bagapsh, all the festive actions, planned for the 19-th anniversary of the Act of declaration of independence of South Ossetia, are cancelled.
