The meeting of the commission of South Ossetia and delegation of Russia on delimitation of the frontier of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation has been held in Moscow. According to the phone message of the Plenipotentiary of the President of South Ossetia Boris Chochiev to IA RES from Moscow, the questions connected with preparation of signing of the agreement between the RSO and the Russian Federation about the state frontier have been discussed at the third meeting.
«In particular questions of official registration and contents of corresponding annexes to the agreement and the projects of maps have been discussed », - the Plenipotentiary has noted. As he has said the meeting has passed in constructive and friendly atmosphere. The work in this direction will also be continued. The following meeting is planned to be held in March-April, 2012 in South Ossetia. It should be reminded that on April, 8, 2009 the RSO government presidium decreed to create the Commission on delimitation and demarcations of the state frontier between of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation. Soon after that the relevant Russian commission has been established by the decree of the President of Russia. The first meeting of participants of the commission with the Russian colleagues was conducted in Moscow on February, 26, 2010, the second – was held in Tskhinval on June, 29, 2010.
