The meeting of the Ossetian People's Front «Russia - Ossetia» of the Vladimir Putin's All-Russian People's Front - International Russia –has been held at the office of the RSO People`s Party in Tskhinval: the current state of affairs and exchange of opinions on urgent issues have been expressed in the course of the meeting.
Representative of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia, a member of the political council of the Republican Political Party "Unity" Tarzan Kokojty, the Chairman of the People`s Party of the RSO, the Chairman of the Committee of the Parliament of the RSO on the Youth policy, Sports and Tourism Kazimir Pliev, the archpriest of the Alansky Eparchy in Tskhinval Father Jacob (Khetagurov), the Chairman of the Union of Defenders of Ossetia Amiran Diaconov, representatives of the State Committee for Rehabilitation of the RSO, Committee of the State Supply and others have addressed the meeting. «Our people can`t imagine South Ossetia beyond Russia, we should be with our brothers and sisters – the Northern Ossetians - as a part of the Russian Federation. For the short period about four thousand citizens have joined the Ossetian People's Front. This process is still in progress. One should not be agitated, because people of South Ossetia realize the question`s essence perfectly - and we are happy that people are joining us so actively», - Tarzan Kokojty has noted in his speech. Kazimir Pliev has also addressed the meeting with the information, that on October, 13 delegates of the Ossetian People's Front will leave for Moscow for participating in the congress of the All-Russian People's Front - International Russia-, which will be held on October, 15, 2011 with participation of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. Father Jacob, who has also addressed the meeting, has declared that he considers the most important result of the work of the People's Front- realization of the centuries-old dream of the Ossetian people - reunification with the Russian Federation. «Some of us consider that if we reunite with Russia we will not have our own government. I am of the opinion that it is nonsense. One should not miss such chance», - Father Jacob has said. Amiran Diaconov has informed the gathered participants of the meeting that the decision on joining the Ossetian People's Front with the All-Russian People's Front of Vladimir Putin - International Russia -was made at the session of the presidium of the Ossetian Union of Defenders. «This idea has met with support of the members of presidium and ordinary participants of our Union, and we are addressing to the patriotic members of our civil society to unite under the People's Front wing. The People's Front should become that ideological force which will provide consolidation of our society for the sake of realization of our national idea values», Diaconov has underlined. The decision on joining the Ossetian People's Front with the All-Russian People's Front of Vladimir Putin - International Russia- is also made by the Alansky Eparchy, Committee for Rehabilitation of the RSO, Committee of the State supply of the RSO.
