Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia considers ignorant the statement of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Nino Kalandadze that with signing of documents in connection with membership in the WTO, Russia disavowed and rejected the concluded agreements with the authorities of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
"Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia once again tries to pass the desirable for reality. We consider this statement ignorant and totally inappropriate; - IA "Res" has been informed at the Foreign Ministry. - All the signed intergovernmental agreements between South Ossetia and the Russian Federation concern the relationship between the two countries and have no relation to neighboring states, as well as the documents signed between other states, don`t concern us." The Foreign Ministry of South Ossetia again has noted that the issue of entry of the Russian Federation into the World Trade Organization (WTO) cannot be linked to the Georgian ambitions of controlling the borders of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
