Representatives of South Ossetia have taken part in the Vth All-Russia forum of mothers, which has been held the other day in capital of Bashkortostan - the city of Ufa. The action was being conducted within the framework of the All-Russia action «the Future of Russia – is in hands of mothers» and under the auspices of Public chamber of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the International Public Association of Welfare Fund "Mum". On arrival in Tskhinval the head of the South Ossetian delegation, the state adviser of the President of the RSO Janna Zasseeva has informed IA "RES" that the forum was attended by 550 delegates from 68 regions of the country among which were not only representatives of the authorities and public organizations, but also mothers of large families.
«The issues of foster and patronage families, social protection of the working mothers, interdepartmental interaction in work with the families which are in a difficult life situation and, as consequence, necessity of improvement of legislation in the field of protection of a family, motherhood and childhood were being discussed at the round tables, during the tours of social, educational and medical institutions of capital of Bashkiria», - Zasseeva has told. She has noticed that participation in the similar forums make to look more deeply in a problem of social vulnerability of mothers and children, and will serve as an impulse for creation in South Ossetia the organization protecting the rights of mothers and raising the social status of a woman-mother. «I think, that legislative initiatives at federal level, which would benefit people, arise during the talks and discussions held at such forums, and in this case, will protect the rights of mothers and children», - the state adviser has underlined. As she said, representatives of South Ossetia had taken part in the round tables «the Strong young family – is the guarantee of prosperity of Russia», «the Foster home – is the warm house», «Interdepartmental interaction on working with the families which are in a difficult life situation», «Innovative technologies in the field of motherhood and childhood protection», «Social protection of working mothers», «Improvement of legislation in the field of protection of a family, motherhood and childhood» and etc.
