Boxers from Tskhinval Soslan Tedeev and Richard Bitiev are participating in the Fifth International boxing tournament among the juniors in memory of the international class master of sports Pavlyukov Nicolay. Tedeev is performing in the weight class up to 64kg, and Bitiev - in the heavyweight class, "- said Slanov. He said the composition of the competition is very strong.
"The tournament is attended by representatives of the best national teams of Russia, the United States, Cuba, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries of the far and near abroad" - added the trainer. He noted that April 4 Tedeev will match with the Cuban boxer and Bitiev will meet in the ring with the first number of the Russian team. It should be noted that in 2011 Richard Bitiev won the championship of the North Caucasus Federal District on boxing among the older boys. In April, 2011 in Shymkent (Kazakhstan) he also won a bronze medal of a major international tournament among the athletes born 1995-1996.
Soslan Tedeev in 2010 became a champion of Russia among cadets, and in 2011 – a silver prize-winner of the All-Russian sports contest among the pupils of the comprehensive secondary schools.
Both athletes train in the Tskhinval branch of the boxing club "Ariana" by the honored coach of South Ossetia and Russia Vitaly Slanov and master of sports Alexander Tedeev.
