South Ossetian participant of the Bryansk symposium was received at the Russian embassy in Tskhinval

Copyright performer of songs from South Ossetia Zarina Dzhabieva took part in the VI International Symposium on "Higher Education of Culture and Arts in the World Educational Space: Russian-Slavic Culture and Intercultural Interaction."

The symposium was held in Moscow and Bryansk from May 25 to June 4 as a part of the program of the Russian cooperation short-term study visits, representatives of youth political, social, scientific and business circles of foreign countries to the Russian Federation. The right to participate in the symposium program Zarina Dzhabieva received by certificate for winning the third International Festival-Contest "Cranes over Russia," where she had performed the song about the heroism of the Russian people in the World War II.
Back in Tskhinval Dzhabieva has been received today at the Russian Embassy, ​​where she has met Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Republic of South Ossetia Elbrus Kargiev and the representative of the Russian cooperation Michael Stepanov. During the meeting, Zarina Dzhabieva told about her impressions and results of her trip.
"I am very grateful to the Embassy and to the Russian Cooperation for giving me the opportunity to participate in the symposium. The program was rich and diverse both culturally and in cognitive terms. We have organized numerous trips, we visited the Armory, Kolomna, we`ve seen all the sights of Moscow. In Bryansk we have visited the estate of Turgenev, "- said Dzhabieva.
According to her, the symposium brought together about 50 representatives of the CIS countries and far abroad.
"They have known nothing about the war in South Ossetia, and when I told them all the horrors that we had to endure since the 90s they were astonished and said that we're just heroes. They did not know it all; they were told and shown about it in a different way. After our talks, most delegates expressed their desire to visit South Ossetia ", - said Dzhabieva.
Besides, she has added, for the participants of the forum were arranged the meetings with the head of the Russian Cooperation , the Governor of the Bryansk region, as well as with the rector of the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts, Chairman of the Council of the Assembly of peoples of Russia Ramazan Abdulatipov.
"As part of the symposium the leading culture and art workers of Russia have conducted master classes, thematic sections and round tables. Just for us has been organized a grand concert. Abdulatipov suggested us to create a community for participants of the forum to communicate in the future, to exchange experiences. We are currently working on this issue ", - said Dzhabieva.
In turn, Ambassador Elbrus Kargiev said that the Russian Embassy would continue to contribute to the development of friendly relations with the youth of other countries.
"We strive to make the world to learn about the talented youth in South Ossetia. At each forum, festival, sports competition representatives of South Ossetia become the winners, and it is the evidence of the fact that the Republic will have a bright future with such talented young people ", - said the diplomat.
During the meeting, the representative of the Russian cooperation Michael Stepanov suggested to Dzhabieva a video bridge between the forum participants and promised his assistance in organizing this event.
