South Ossetian athlete Ivar Talibdjanov will participate in the Thai Boxing World Championship.

As reported IA "Res" by Talibdjanov himself, "I am very happy that I will represent South Ossetia at the World Championship. I have been training for this tournament very seriously. Within a month, I was training hard twice a day in Minsk – as the Belarusian Thai boxing school is considered one of the best in the world. During the trainings I focused on improving my technical skills, in particular, the techniques used in clinch - said Talibdjanov. - Then I continued my training in Vladikavkaz. In North Ossetia the priority was given to functional training. "
According to the athlete, he is now ready to train in Tskhinval.
"Here, I am also training twice a day under the guidance of the coach, master of sports Murat Kokoev and one of the pioneers of martial arts in our Republic Soslan Tedety. I am perfecting my technical skills and improving tolerance. I am very grateful to the coaches for assisting me in training for the tournament, "- continued the boxer.
According to the Thai boxer, the tournament will be held in St. Petersburg September 5 – 13, 2012. Talibdjanov will perform in the weight class up to 81 - 86 kg.
It should be noted that in the history of the sport of South Ossetia, it will be the first performance of the South Ossetian athlete in the Thai boxing World Championship.
