The major component of the principles of the ideological front of the state, regardless of its level of development, is a national idea.
This has been declared by President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov at the international conference "The National Idea and State Policy in South Ossetia", held in Tskhinval.
"The national idea – is a goal that people set before themselves to consolidate the nation, and this goal is the incentive and the driving force of social progress - the president underlined. - Today we have reached the level of development, when it is necessary to determine the basics of the national idea. The basis of our national idea is to create a stable society."
He also drew attention to the fact that in the future the people of the North and South Ossetia should be united.
"We are one people who cannot live being separated - said the President. - Today we have to strengthen our statehood and seek for the salvation for our people, keeping to the elements of security, which is the highest form of observation of our national idea."
In addition, according to the head of state, it`s necessary to strengthen the system of national security in South Ossetia.
"We have our armed forces, there are also the military units of the Russian military bases and the FSS Border Control Agency of Russia in the territory of our Republic, which, I think, is a reliable stronghold of peace and progress of our Republic," - said Leonid Tibilov.
The President has stressed the importance of assistance that Russia has been rendering to South Ossetia.
"Russia has been providing invaluable assistance to South Ossetia in the rehabilitation and development of the economy as a whole. Today we are faced with the task of developing and strengthening our statehood, and without Russia we will not be able to boost our economy at a proper level, - has said the head of state. - We are grateful to the Russian Federation, which sets specific objectives to those heads of federal executive agencies to help us in the economic revival. "
Tibilov has stressed that one more proof of this fact is the recent working visit of the Russian delegation to the Republic.
"It was a fruitful work. Every effort was made to ensure the better future of South Ossetia. This is a continuation of the work that we have been doing since the end of May of this year. We are grateful to Great Russia for its huge attention, "- has said the president, adding that, according to the Russian leadership, there is a substantial progress in the rehabilitation and the development process of South Ossetia.
"I assure you that we shall not stop at what has been accomplished. Our Republic has a chance to complete the recovery process to reach a new stage of development - said Tibilov. - In Russia is widely believed that South Ossetia should not follow the rehabilitation process, but the stage of development. And we intend to make the investment program on promoting socio-economic development of South Ossetia in 2013, 2014 and 2015, taking into account the top priority needs of the population. "
Leonid Tibilov stressed that this program should be based on the construction and commissioning of such facilities, which, first of all, would provide the citizens with jobs.
