The 21th round of the international discussions on security in Transcaucasia has been completed in Geneva.
As IA "Res" has been informed over the phone from Geneva by a Head of the South Ossetian delegation, the RSO Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev, the discussions consisted of two working groups: on security and humanitarian issues.

"At the meeting of the group on security issues, the main attention was focused on a review of the situation in the region after the 20th round of the discussions. South Ossetian delegation described the situation as the stable tense and drew attention to the ongoing violations of the state border between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of Georgia ", - said Dzhioev. He has added that the participants focused their attention on increasing the Georgian police and military posts along the border of South Ossetia.
"It was also noted that, despite the ongoing sessions of MPRI, many issues had not been solved yet. In particular, the problem of the residents of the Georgian village of Zardiantkari, bordering on South Ossetia, "- said the envoy.
Dzhioev has also pointed out the lack of progress in searching for the missing persons. "The South Ossetian delegation has once again laid claim to the Georgian authorities to provide information about the citizens of South Ossetia, the detention of whom was confirmed documentary by the law enforcement authorities of Georgia. This issue was central in the work of both groups, "- he said.
A lot of attention, according to Dzhioev, was given to the main issue of the Geneva Discussions - development of the document on the non-use of force in relations between Georgia and South Ossetia, Abkhazia and Georgia.
"The South Ossetian participants expressed support for the previously proposed draft statement of the debate about the commitment to the principle of the non-use of force and stressed the need to elaborate a legally binding document guaranteeing non-use of force in relations between Georgia and South Ossetia," - he said.
In the second working group were discussed the humanitarian issues. "The South Ossetian and Abkhaz delegations agreed in the near future to unite the two working groups and work together," - he said.
Finally Dzhioev has underlined that it was the first round after the parliamentary elections in Georgia.
«The Georgian delegation has included members of the parties –followers of the coalition
"Georgian Dream"- Georgy Volsky and Paata Zakareishvili," - stressed the Presidential Envoy.
The next round of the Geneva talks will be held in December, 2012.
