Development prospects of Leningor district of South Ossetia have been discussed at a round table in the course of the visit to the district by ​​the Interagency Group of Russia and members of the government of the Republic. The round table was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of South Ossetia Alla Dzhioeva, members of the Russian interagency working group led by the representative of the Border Service of the RF Federal Security Service Gregory Ganovichev, representatives of the district administration and the public, members of the government of the Republic.

Expert of the Center of Strategic Development "Region" from Moscow Denis Denisov has informed the audience that currently is being worked out a plan on strategic development of South Ossetia to 2030.
"The document will include the main areas of life in Leningor district that need to be implemented by 2030," - said Denisov.
Deputy Economic Development Minister Inna Grunwald, in turn, stressed that the development strategy of the Republic would include comprehensive programs with a priority given to the development of the districts.
She noted that developing the program would be taken into account the opinion of the population. Deputy Head of Leningor district Alan Alborov expressed his wish that special attention of the development program of the district would be given to agriculture.
"There is a vast territory of ​​fertile land around the village of Tsinagar, and if the irrigation system is restored, the entire district will be supplied with fruit and vegetables - added Alborov. - I wish they would help us with the sales market of the Leningor brewery. "
The problems in medical care were voiced by the district hospital head doctor Lyudmila Gigolaeva.
"There is a shortage of qualified doctors in the district, in particular, gynecologist, dentist, surgeon," - explained Gigolaeva.
The round table participants were also talking about the education, cultural and economic problems.
Alla Dzhioeva noted that at the round table had been determined the main priorities which would be taken into consideration in the program of socio-economic development of the Republic.
At the end of the round table the best representatives of the education, cultural, medical, business and social areas were given prizes and gifts.
