South Ossetian State University and the Sochi national park intend to expand cooperation

The Sochi National Park and the South-Ossetian State University have begun to implement a cooperation agreement signed on July 2, 2013.
As the news agency "Res" was informed by the Candidate of Biology, a leading researcher of the Sochi Park Konstantin Lotiev, they intend to support the Department of Biology of the South Ossetian State University.

"We agreed on scientific cooperation in studying of amphibians and reptiles of South Ossetia - said Lotiev. - And we are ready to assist your university in handling the museum materials, to share information about groups of plants and animals, to assist students in writing dissertations and coursework. Our colleagues can come and see the collection of the Sochi Park ".
Lotiev has expressed the hope that with time the cooperation will be expanded, adding
that at the beginning of September a group of scientists from Sochi is going to re-visit South Ossetia.
It should be noted that the main directions of the Sochi National Park are- the preservation and study of natural complexes, as well as historical and cultural sites situated on its territory, the protection of forest resources, the control of reproduction of flora and fauna, recreation and environmental education. Recreational facilities of the Sochi National Park include the pristine corners of the Caucasian nature, architectural, historical and cultural monuments.
