South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov and Russian Presidential Aide Vladislav Surkov who has arrived in the Republic on a working visit, have inspected today the facilities under construction in the center of Tskhinval and discussed general plan of the town development.
After inspecting the site for construction of the State Drama Theatre, representative of the Ministry of Construction of the RSO briefed on Leonid Tibilov and the Russian official on the details of preparation for construction, presented a plan of construction and improvement of the park area.
"Site preparation is practically completed. Object of social and cultural value is included in the Investment Program of socio-economic development of South Ossetia in 2014, the implementation of the construction tasks has started, "- stressed the builders.
Construction of the Local History Museum is also underway; the representative of the Ministry of Construction has assured Leonid Tibilov and Vladislav Surkov that the museum will be put into operation by August 26, 2014 – the Day of recognition of the independence of South Ossetia by the Russian Federation.
"Completion dates of the construction are fixed, this is an important component of the complex work and will have positive impact on the recovery process of the Republic," - the President said.
In turn, Vladislav Surkov has reiterated that the South Ossetian and Russian counterparts in the joint working group have created a good relationship.
"I am confident that this work will yield a positive result and benefit for all", - he said.
During today's tour was inspected another construction project in the capital, which is included in the Investment Program of socio-economic development of South Ossetia in 2014 - a concert hall "Chermen" which the builders also promised to put in commission this summer.
During the inspection of the building, the head of state and the Russian official talked to the employees of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of South Ossetia, which have already moved to one of the restored buildings of the government complex.
During the inspection of construction projects Leonid Tibilov and the Russian official were accompanied by Acting Prime Minister of South Ossetia Domenty Kulumbegov, head of the Presidential Administration Boris Chochiev, Mayor Alan Alborov, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Construction, headed by Acting Minister Eduard Dzagoev.
