More than 130 leading experts, journalists and political scientists from Russia, South Ossetia, Abkhazia, CIS and foreign countries participated in the international conference in Moscow "Public Diplomacy for Eurasian integration."
According to the press service of the Embassy of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation, at the conference were discussed the most urgent and pressing issues of international relations.
Following the discussions in the working sections and during the plenary session the participants noted a number of conceptual provisions and expressed interest in further development and expansion of dialogue platforms on a systematic basis, meaning to hold annual activities dedicated to enhancing the role of civil society in solving pressing international problems of the modern world.
The conference was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to the Russian Federation Dmitry Medoev.
The event was organized by the Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo).
