South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov met with Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government, the Сhairman of the Russian part of the Intergovernmental Commission on soсio-economic cooperation between the two countries Alexander Khloponin. Russian official has arrived in the Republic to participate in the 13th session of the IGC, which will be held today in Tskhinval.
As noted during the meeting Leonid Tibilov, on all issues on today's agenda of the IGC had been previously carried out the relevant work, it is only necessary to approve the protocol and begin implementing the investment program to promote socio-economic development of the RSO for 2015-2017.
"Our agencies have carried out a fruitful work to prepare for today's meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission", - said the president.
He has also pointed out that the question remains open with the restoration of houses destroyed during the war in August 2008, some of which still have not be restored.
"I should have asked at the meeting of the IGC to consider allocating the financial resources within the framework of the investment program to include in the list several houses to be restored," - said Tibilov.
In turn, Alexander Khloponin thanked Leonid Tibilov for personal active participation in the work of the Intergovernmental Commission.
