"We drew the attention of the participants of the meeting to another shooting of the South Ossetian border mark in the area of the villages of the Lower Otrev and Korcula from the Georgian village of Plavi. This time, the boundary mark was damaged by using rifled weapons", - Dzhioev said.
He has added that the South Ossetian side noted with great concern the facts of shooting of the South Ossetian border marks.
"This shooting could have absolutely unpredictable consequences, therefore we once again called on the Georgian side and the EU Monitoring Mission to ensure that such incidents will not be tolerated in the future," - the Plenipotentiary said.
Dzhioev also pointed to the agreement of the parties to inform each other about possible military exercises or any movements in relative proximity to the border between South Ossetia and Georgia.
