Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Respublic Vitaly Ignatiev met with the head of the official representative office of South Ossetia-State of Alania in Transdniestria Vitaly Jankowski, the news agency "Novosti Pridnestrovie" reports with reference to the press service of the PMR foreign ministry.
In the course of the conversation, the sides focused on promising areas of development of interaction between Transnistria and South Ossetia. In particular, the diplomats of the two countries agreed on a list of joint activities planned for implementation during 2018.
"Special attention was also paid to the further increase in the dynamics of contacts between the foreign ministries of the two states, as well as the possibilities of using the potential of international platforms and mechanisms of parliamentary diplomacy," - the PMR MFA noted.
There were also discussed topical aspects of the work of the representation of the State of Alania in Transnistria. Vitaly Ignatiev stressed the readiness of Transnistria to support the mission on all issues.
