The Luhansk People's Republic and South Ossetia are planning to sign a memorandum on cooperation in the information sphere. This was reported Lugansk information center with reference to the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the The Luhansk People's Republic People's Republic.
The Luhansk People's Republic and South Ossetia-State of Alania will start working on the creation of a common information space.
Yuri Pershikov, First Deputy Minister of Communications and Mass Media of the Luhansk People's Republichas noted that the formation of a common information space between the republics is especially important in the light of the fact that both LPR and South Ossetia are partially in the information blockade.
"In South Ossetia are interested in what is happening in the Republics of Donbass. We are also interested in the life of our colleagues. I think that in the near future we will sign a memorandum of cooperation. The documents are already being worked out in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs," - Pershikov said.
According to the Deputy Minister of Communications of the Luhansk People's Republic, South Ossetia is the first state to recognize the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics.
"We should not forget that South Ossetia is the first country to recognize us. There is an understanding of these processes, in many ways similar to the LPR. South Ossetia has been struggling for the right to be in Russia, the people of South Ossetia are striving to unite with North Ossetia, and we are striving to unite with our historic homeland, because we are part of the "Russian world", - Pershikov stressed.
It should be reminded that the delegation of the Ministry of Economic Development of South Ossetia headed by Gennady Kokoev is on a visit to the Luhansk People's Republic.
