Journalists of North and South Ossetia shared their experiences. InVladikavkaz, for the first time, has been held a scientific-practical conference “Media North-South”. The conference has brought together representatives of all types of media. In the course of live communication, representatives of the media of North and South Ossetia discussed issues of cooperation, as well as the development of modern regional media.
“Our main task is to strengthen the integration processes between the colleagues. I think that when journalists start to interact closely with each other, they will start talking about the life of the North and the South everywhere,” said Yuri Fidarov, Chairman of the press and mass communications committee of North Ossetia.
The organizers - the Committee on the Affairs of the Press and Mass Communications of the Republic - stressed that it was important not only to discuss, but to proceed to direct action. Journalists of television and newspaper editorial, employees of publishing and Internet portals - all are on the same platform. They discuss the main issues of the profession. The organizers - the Committee on the Affairs of the Press and Mass Communications of the Republic - note that North and South Ossetia have been cooperating for a long time. They even signed an interaction agreement.
In addition to the delegation from South Ossetia, the Secretary of the Belarusian Union of Journalists Andrei Krivosheev also took part in the conference. He has noted that it is extremely important for professional journalists to know and understand the situation in the Caucasus in order to reliably convey it.
It was also held a plenary session. 15 reports of journalists from both republics were heard. Much attention was paid to the national press, all types of media in the modern media space and the specifics of regional journalism. The participants have noted that this exchange of experience is useful for both parties.
The participants say the conversation was really interesting and useful. Much of what will be put into practice.

The international conference ended with a friendly football match. The team of South Ossetia won with a score of 12: 7.
