The delegation of South Ossetia discussed with colleagues in Donetsk plans to support war veterans

Chairman of the People’s Council of the DPR Vladimir Bidevka received a delegation from the Republic of South Ossetia in Donetsk, the press service of the National Assembly reports.

“A person is always in the center of attention for us, and support from the state, from the public, especially if the country is faced with military operations, is of particular importance. Providing assistance to service veterans who defended their homeland, supporting those who were seriously injured and are currently limited in their capabilities, is our duty, and I am sincerely glad that both the Republic of South Ossetia and the DPR pay great attention to this,” Bidevka noted.

He has also added that a number of agreements signed between the Republics provide an opportunity to develop cooperation, share experience in many areas, which will subsequently bring positive results that will contribute to the improvement of friendly countries.

The delegation of South Ossetia was led by the Chairman of the Foundation for Support for the Wounded, Disabled, during the hostilities in South Ossetia Madina Plieva. The meeting was also attended by deputies and representatives of the Committee on Disabled Affairs – war and labor veterans, law enforcement agencies of the DPR.

The delegation members thanked the representatives of the Committee on Disabled Affairs - veterans of the war, labor and law enforcement agencies of the DPR for their active cooperation and discussed plans for further joint work.
